I am so excited to have you join me in this sew along of the scaredy-cat table runner! I think it’s just perfect for fall. It’s one of my brand new patterns and I love how it looks on my table. I hope you will too. If you are just joining in, welcome and you can find the pattern you need HERE.
So let’s get started.....gather your fabrics and then first up for this week is the cutting.
Grab your pattern and let’s get all the piece cut out. For the background fabric, it is in sections so you know what it will be used for. The first squares are for the border units.
Continue cutting out all the units for everything. I like to separate them in stacks and keep all the sections together in baggies so I can just sew up the next step when I come to it. I usually write on the baggies with a sharpie so I know what it will be for but this project is easy to tell them apart.

I like using these boxes that are actually made for scrapbook paper because they plenty large for most projects And it’s an easy way to keep all the pieces together.
