Welcome to another day in the Little Rudy Sew Along hosted by Fat Quarter Shop! I am having alot of fun with this sew along and am very excited to be included in such a great group of bloggers who are also sewing up this beautiful quilt.
This week we are sewing the Jelly Roll strips together, cutting them in triangles that will then be sewing into the star blocks.
Be sure to watch the video to see just how easy this is going to be!
I sewed my strips together on my new favorite Juki sewing machine.
I have wanted a faster machine for awhile and just love it! I do need to name her though...any thoughts on a good name?
I pressed my strips and cut out my triangles~
I plan on using the darker triangles for this quilt. I am saving the light ones for when I go to retreat and finishing the second quilt then....that is on of the great things with this pattern....it's a two for one!
I sewed my dark triangles together and I am ready to assemble my rows. We will be back on June 27th for part 3. See you then!
You can also find me on Facebook
