I have to say that I look forward to Mondays and posting the hints for you. It's great to start the week with a bit of sewing. Of course this morning I am alittle tired. Really don't like the time change but the sun won't set until after 7:00 pm tonight so I hope to get a walk in before the sun goes down...that is the great part of the time change!
What style of fabric did you choose for this Mystery? I am using springy fabrics because I am working on a new book full of Christmas projects so it's a fun change to work on both right now. Would love to hear what you have chosen.
I have had alot of people tell me that they look forward to Monday's now that we are doing the Mysterys. I think it's a great way to start the week. Even a little sewing during the week while we wait for the weekend is a fun break. I hope you are enjoying the Mystery's as much as I am.
P.S. Don't forget to comment on the Never enough bags post to be entered for a chance to win my two newest bag patterns. If you receive my blog posts in your email, just click on the title of the post and it will bring you to the actual blog so you can comment there.
Please note~ I update the "What you need" page. I changed the fat 1/4 of medium fabric for star center into (1) 5" charm square. Sorry about that but you really only need (1) 4 1/2" square, not a whole fat 1/4.
Spoiler alert...turn away if you don't want to know what we are making....it's a table topper!
I put a few clues on the list to help you choose your fabrics. I like to start with my main fabric and then choose the others that compliment it. The main fabric should have some zip to it like a floral or a little bit busier pattern and keep the other fabrics a little more simple or solid. Of course the choice is your and the project is small so have some fun it!
