Today we are working on the lining for our tote. I added a option for you with Heat & Bond. I like to add it so that with you put the lining in the outside unit, you will then fuse the layers together to make the tote stronger and the lining won't slip out....but we will be doing that later...so don't do that yet.

On another fun note we will be starting the Winter Nights sew along this week. We will begin on Thursday...are you joining me? Here is how the quilt looks in the book~
If you want to raid your stash and sew along with me you will need the following~ 12 fat 1/4's of bright fabric for the stars, 4 fat 1/4's of light fabric for the star centers, 4 fat 1/4's of bright fabric for the ribbon strips in the sashing and 3 5/8 yard of a light Bella solid (from Moda fabrics) for the background.
Here are some of the fabrics I will be using~
The fabric is Prairie by Corey Yoder from Moda fabrics....so pretty! Can't wait to see how fresh and bright the quilt will be out of these fabrics.
The pattern is found in my Winter Wonderland book....available at your local quilt shop or from The Fat Quarter Shop.
We will be using the hashtag #Winternightqal and be sure to tag me @sherfalls so I can see how your doing. You can also see my progress and follow along on my new Facebook page that you can find HERE. (I finally set up a FB page for you!) Hope you will check it out.
