Happy New Year!
My favorite time of the year is the week in between Christmas and New Years. The rush of preparing for Christmas is over and I have already picked up the decorations and taken down the tree. The house is clean and ready for the new year. I love having the kids home and their friends over...making lots of noise and eating up what is left of the Christmas cookies. I have a long list of New Years resolutions for 2015. I haven't ever been big on making resolutions but this year I am. Going to give it a shot and see how it goes....do you make resolutions? If so, what are yours?
Last week I annouced my Christmas book "Winter Wonderland" that is being published for me by The Fat Quarter Shop and It's Sew Emma. I am very excited about this book. Over the next few months I will be blogging and posting pictures of my sewing progress on Instagram. I hope you will follow along with me as I sew up all the projects!
Now for the part you have all been waiting for...the winner of my six newest patterns is~
Karen Seitz who said: Yay - more mini patterns. I just bought a couple of yours that I hope to work up in 2015. The new winter book looks enticing too!
And because there was so many of you that left sweet and kind comments I also chose~
Sally K who said: I put in my preorder for the new book at the Fat Quarter Shop. Would love to win the new patterns! My favorite is the sewing machine with January's a very close 2nd. Thanks so much for the chance to win!
If you two ladies would send me an email with your snail mail addresses, I will pop the new patterns in the mail for you to enjoy.
Thanks again for all your kind words about the new book and patterns! I really appreciate each and every one of you that visit my blog....lots of fun things coming in 2015!
For starters, we will begin a new Mystery Monday on January 5th. Hope you will join me and please invite your friends.
P.S. Shop owners, you can order Winter Wonderland from United Notions as ISE-908. Trunk shows are available for the new book and I am available to teach classes also. Just pop me an email with any questions you have. Thanks!
