So did you get all your cutting done? I hope so because it is time to start sewing. This is a longer Mystery so I am giving you two parts to sew this week. They are small so it shouldn't take to long.

I would love to hear about the fabrics you have picked out for this Mystery. What did you choose? I am working with reds, white and yellows. I think it's a very springy and since I am tired of our brown cold days, it makes me happy and reminds me of sunshine. Still wishing for snow!

I am using red, cream and pink with a small flower in it. I have part four done and look forward to next Monday's step five. I am really enjoying your mystery Monday's. Thanks for hosting.

Hi - I am using shades of blue & yellow!
But I do have a question - the second set of instructions says to use light background and main fabric and sew together. I have the 4x6 cut with light background, but the corresponding 4x6 pieces are not cut from the main fabric, rather the alternate. Did I cut wrong?
Thanks -

I e-mailed so I hoping you can shed some light but now I am really confused because the last lady said it was 4x6 and as I am reading it.....it says 2 1/4 light and 2/6 main, which I am not sure on that part since the cutting shows it to be the alternate fabric......not the main. Hopefully it will be cleared up for us.

Carol,
The cutting is as stated in the pattern.
The correction was the word alternate and main. You need to use the alternate fabric for the rectangles.
Thanks!

I have updated the pattern and the only change was the word alternate and main fabric for the rectangles.
Thank you,

Since there were only two fabrics matching the sizes on the sewing diagram picture I sewed mine together and didn't even read. They are correct.
